One Euro Market Kft. and its strategic partner as Százért Száz Üzletletlánc Kft. is the biggest supplier of countrywide spread one-euro stores in Hungary.
The goal of this project was to introduce a fully OpenSource Business Intelligence solution, replacing an outdated, dBase based reporting system.
We used 100% free - Community Edition versions of Commercial OpenSource products up the line to build the datawarehouse, the data integration layer and also the reporting system.
The main components used to build the solution were:
ETL Talend: We - as the Hungarian Talend partner - have a firm belief that Talend is the best OpenSource ETL tool currently available on the market.
DBMS EnterpriseDB: A PostgreSQL based, easily manageble OpenSource DBMS - with Oracle like functions and extensions.
Reporting Pentaho: Probably the most complete and user-friendly OpenSource Reporting Solution available.
And of course lots of our input of best practices, innovations and enhancement work.
