The new SAP BusinessObjects 4.0 Beta has arrived - we test it

The team of Starschema takes part in testing the beta of SAP BO 4.0, so we get first hand experience of the new BO version and we can also contribute to the mainenace of the software's quality.

Magic Quadrant for Data Warehouse DBMS

Greenplum gets top ranking in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Data Warehouse Database Management Systems. Greenplum – distributed in Hungary by Starschema Ltd – is listed between the leaders, in an illustrious copmany of Oracle, Teradata and IBM. By this ranking Greenplum has a fine edge on Microsoft, Ingres, Vertica and Infobright. The ranking is based on the opinion of CIOs, chief technology officers, members of business intelligence (BI) competency centers, database and data warehouse architects, database administrators (DBAs) and IT purchasing departments. The study spots that Greenplum has also launched it’s appliance last year – according to it’s aquisition by EMC².
